Our Story
Kiyomi (清水) was co-founded by Cole and Kylee Jones, two people driven by the pursuit of becoming better versions of themselves. From marathon running to jiu-jitsu to putting in the work every day, self-improvement has always been at the center of their lives.
They first met while working at a restaurant in Marble Falls, where Cole asked Kylee out for coffee. Over that first cup, they shared their dreams and downfalls — and from that moment on, they’ve been growing together. Coffee became more than a drink; it became a symbol of connection, growth, and possibility.
Japanese culture played a big role in shaping Cole’s outlook, especially the philosophy of Kaizen (改善) — continuous improvement. That spirit of discipline, betterment, and purpose has become the foundation of Kiyomi.
Coffee brought us together, and now it’s at the heart of our mission:
To inspire improvement through coffee and community.
We believe that every cup has the power to spark growth. By sharing stories, building connections, and embracing Kaizen, we hope to encourage others to overcome insecurities, pursue their passions, and take steps toward becoming who they truly want to be.
